Overall, this assignment aims to provide ad hoc multi-sectoral technical assistance for a green and just transition in LAC in line with the EU Global Gateway Strategy and in the areas of implementation of GIZ within the Euroclima Programme, which up to date focus on sustainable energy, sustainable transport, bioeconomy and resilient food production, biodiversity, ecosystems and nature-based solutions, and circular economy in the Caribbean, but in the future do not exclude disaster management and risk reduction and sustainable water management to meet the Programme"s needs. Consistent with Euroclima´s potential role as a strategic knowledge and regional facilitator for like-minded initiatives, the requested services may also contribute to the achievement of objectives and indicators of related programs through collaborating with other programs in the region.
